DIVE TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR (MECHANICAL): Sea-Force Hyperbaric

Job description:
● Maintain Saturation Dive and Air Dive System.
● Operation of Saturation and Air System.
● Emergency Hyperbaric Lifeboat Rescue Operations.
● Oxygen Treatment Operations.
● Hospital Oxygen Therapy Assistance operations.
● IMCA standards Planned Maintenance System implementation.
● IMCA standards Certification System implementation.
● General Facility Operations.
● Facilitate and assist external training courses conducted onsite.
Due to the nature of operations carried out by Sea-Force, all candidates must have the knowledge and experience before being an active member of an Emergency Team, hence your operational experience is key for this position.
The position requires you to work on a 30-day rotation basis, living in St Johns, working daily within the facility and be “on-call” 24/7.
The Hyperbaric unit is located within the Shipyard (Newdock) in St Johns and has all the facilities onsite for personnel to conduct daily 12-hour shifts.
Company accommodation is available (if required) and transportation is onsite for business use.
You will be part of a small team where interaction and teamwork is a key component of the service we provide.
Skills:
Candidates should be qualified and experience within the Diving Industry, working on DSV’s
• Minimum 20 years offshore.
• Minimum 30 years within Diving companies.
• SPHL operational experience required.
• IMCA standard required.
• Proficiency in English.
● Time served mechanical apprenticeship
● Time served technical offshore diving support vessel training.
● Offshore experience with diving operations and working on diving support vessels (DSV).
● Experience working for an offshore diving company.
● Self-Propelled Hyperbaric Lifeboat (SPHL) operations and training.
● Completed Dive Technical Competence package required.
● Planned Maintenance System training certificate required.
● Audit and FMEA training is advantageous as you will be required to run IMCA audits.
● Candidate must be a self-starting team member with good communication and interaction skills.

| Benefits and Other Informations: | Candidates will work on a Day-Rate basis, submitting invoices as required by the company. Day Rates are between $950.00 -$1,150.00 and are based on qualifications and experience. Per diem of $90 per day is given for subsidence during the work period. Successful candidates will be given complete details which may include a trial period onsite. |
